Dr. Ramesh Daggubati serves as the Associate Chief of Cardiology and Director of Structural Heart Disease at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Prior to joining WVU he was the Associate Chief of Cardiology at NYU Winthrop Hospital, interim Chief of Cardiology and Clinical Professor at Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University.
Dr. Daggubati is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is skilled in all aspects of interventional cardiology including atrial septal defect and patent foramen ovale closure, percutaneous aortic and mitral valve replacement or repair, percutaneous ventricular assist devices such as Impella, Tandem Heart, ECMO, pulmonary embolectomy, peripheral and complex coronary interventions. He performs transradial interventions and has proctored many physicians across the country and world. He has developed algorithms for management of cardiogenic shock that is used at multiple institutions around the country.

Samin K. Sharma is an American philanthropist of Indian descent and an interventional cardiologist who co-founded the Eternal Heart Care Centre and Research Institute in Jaipur (EHCC). He is on New York State’s Cardiac Advisory Board since 2004. As of 2021, he is Senior Vice-President, Operations & Quality at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and runs the Dr. Samin K. Sharma Family Foundation Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. As of 2018, he is Chairman Board of Trustees, Association of Indians in America (AIA). Dr. Sharma received his bachelor of science degree from University Maharaja College then his MBBS degree from SMS Medical Department of Pharmacy, Jaipur in 1978.He completed his residency in internal medicine at the NY Infirmary-Beekman Downtown Hospital (1983-1986), a two-year fellowship in cardiology at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens (1986-1988). He trained with Mount Sinai's chief of cardiology, Dr. Valentín Fuster. He was concurrently an emergency department physician in Queens and was later hired to Mount Sinai's cardiology department. Dr. Sharma specializes in the non-surgical treatment of mitral and aortic stenosis. He reportedly performed 3,722 angioplasties over three years (2005-2007) according to a study by the New York State Department of Health. He also performs rotational atherectomy, an alternative to angioplasty for complex, calcified coronary lesions. He has published extensively on the procedure and he is a principal investigator (PI) on scores of clinical trials and research grants analyzing and contrasting forms of interventional cardiology. Dr. Roxana Mehran earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from New York University in 1983. She earned her M.D. from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies in 1987. From 1988 until 1991, Mehran completed her residency training in the internal medicine program at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Hartford, CT, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Om P. Ganda is Senior Physician and Director of the Lipid Clinic at Joslin Diabetes Center, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Patrick T. O'Gara, MD, MACC, FAHA, FESC, is the Watkins Family Distinguished Chair in Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. O'Gara served as President of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in 2014-15. He is the Co-Director of the ACC Board Review Course and Editor-in-Chief of the ACC Collaborative Maintenance Programs (CMPs), spanning general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure and adult congenital heart disease. He currently chairs the AHA/ACC Joint Committee on Clinical Practice Guidelines. Eric R. Bates, MD
Dr Eric Bates is professor of internal medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr Bates graduated from Princeton University and the University of Michigan Medical School. He trained in internal medicine and cardiology at the University of Michigan Hospitals. His major clinical interests include acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndromes, and coronary artery disease. Clyde Yancy MD, MSc
Dr. Clyde W. Yancy is Vice Dean of Diversity and Inclusion, Professor of Medicine and Chief of Cardiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He concomitantly serves as associate director of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He holds the Magerstadt Endowed Professor Chair and holds a concomitant appointment as professor in the Department of Medical Social Sciences.
Yancy is a native of Louisiana, where he earned his bachelor’s degree at Southern University in Baton Rouge and medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He served an internship and residency in internal medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Yancy completed his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he received research training in the human physiology laboratories of Drs. Gunnar Blomqvist and Jere Mitchell, as well as advanced heart failure and heart transplant training from Dr. Maria-Teresa Olivari. He received his initial faculty appointment in 1989 and held a position on the faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, for 17 years. While at UT Southwestern he held the Carl Westcott Distinguished Chair in Medical Research, was associate dean for clinical affairs and served as medical director of the Heart Failure/Heart Transplant Program. In 2006, Yancy was named director of the Baylor Heart and Vascular Institute, Dallas. In 2010, he completed a master’s degree in medical management at The University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management.
Yancy’s research interests are heart failure, clinical guideline generation, outcomes sciences, personalized medicine and health care disparities. He is extensively published, with more than 650 peer-reviewed publications, an h-index > 100 and annual recognition as one of the most highly cited scientific authors worldwide. Yancy is deputy editor of JAMA Cardiology and senior section editor of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC): Heart Failure. He also serves on the editorial boards for Circulation, Circulation: Heart Failure, the American Heart Journal and JACC: Heart Failure. Board certified in internal medicine, with a subspecialty in cardiovascular disease, Yancy holds the designations of Master of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), Master of the American College of Physicians, Fellow of the American Heart Association (AHA), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Fellow of the Heart Failure Society of America, and Honorary Fellow of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology. He has served on innumerable clinical practice guidelines and consensus statements writing committees and as chair of the ACC/AHA Heart Failure Clinical Practice Guideline Writing Committee, 2011 - 2020. He is immediate past co-chair of the ACC Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce and former president of the AHA, (2009 – 2010). He has completed extensive government service for the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
Yancy is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and the American Association of Physicians. In 2018, he was appointed to the Minority Health Affairs Subcommittee, Department of Health and Human Services. That same year, he received two lifetime achievement awards: one for clinical research from WomenHeart® and one for research and leadership in diversity from the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. In 2019, he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from his alma mater, Tulane University School of Medicine. In 2021, he received the Northwestern Medicine Mihai Gheorghiade Award for Mentorship and the Gary Mecklenburg Distinguished Physician Award for exemplary professionalism and humanism. James E. Udelson, MD
Dr. James Udelson is Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Tufts Medical Center. He is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and in 2012 received the Distinguished Faculty Award from the Medical School.

Nosheen Reza, MD
Nosheen Reza, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she cares for patients in the Penn Center for Inherited Cardiovascular Disease and in the Section of Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Transplantation, and Mechanical Circulatory Support. He is recognized nationally and internationally for the pioneering role he has played in the development of radiofrequency catheter ablation for treatment of cardiac arrhythmias as well as for his research on arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia. Dr Calkins received 1st prize in the NASPE Young Investigator Competition in 1988, was recipient of the Helen B. Taussig Award of the Maryland American Heart Association Affiliate in 1999, and was awarded the Van Ruyven Medal of the Heart Lung Foundation Utrecht, the Netherlands in 2012. Dr Calkins has been recognized for his clinical excellence by Best Doctors in America, America’s Top Physicians, and Baltimore Magazine. He has an appointment as associate faculty at the Armstrong Institute for patient safety and quality.
He is a dual-boarded cardiologist and intensivist with clinical practice in the cardiac intensive care unit and echocardiography lab. His research focuses on improving multidisciplinary care and outcomes of patients with cardiac critical illness. His educational interests include electrocardiography, echocardiography, and physical diagnosis and clinical reasoning.
Dr. Metkus received his undergraduate degree from Boston University College of Engineering, medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed residency and chief residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He completed fellowships in cardiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
